Internalize these three. Everything else flows from them.
Eight warzones split into Deepwood and Wetland factions. Your top-1-2 ranking matters less now than how well you coordinate with the other three servers in your faction. Your enemies are four servers, collectively.
When you attack an enemy faction city to 100%, it's destroyed — not captured. Cannot be rebuilt. Every offensive strike is permanent damage to their settlement; every loss is permanent loss to ours.
Hybrid Squad (4+1) is removed. Three new single-type Universal cards replace it: Aftermath Burst, Dimensional Crit, Frontal Suppression. Every mixed squad your spenders built is now suboptimal. Mono-type returns.
We just ran the attacking faction in Goldvein 3v5 to 100% destruction across every building. KxO finished #1 in every category except battle points (#2). That's the exact muscle Season 6 demands — sustained for 8 weeks instead of 4, and applied across permanent objectives instead of resettable ones.

You will be the diplomatic hub for ~32 alliances across 4 warzones during pre-season Week 2 and the first week of S6. Plan to delegate KxO day-to-day operations to a trusted R4 during this window. Your bandwidth gets consumed by external coordination whether you plan for it or not.
Eight alliances. Five distinct roles. Plan the WZ around what each can actually deliver.
Role assignments aren't permanent. Re-evaluate weekly based on participation. SdF in particular is a candidate to upgrade to fighter status if their leadership stabilizes.
KxO + dTf as the coordinated assault + logistics core. SdF and GOP as activated second-wave. The rest pulling resource and donation weight. That should consistently put 493 #1 or #2 across the four-WZ faction in War Merit, Influence Points, and Faction Clash rankings.
One pact per alliance. The slot is precious. Score every candidate WZ's top alliance the moment groups reveal.
Score each criterion 1–10 for a candidate alliance. Multiply by the weight. Total out of 100. Try this on your top 2-3 candidates before initiating any pact.
Pacts cannot be initiated on War Declaration Days (Wednesday and Saturday). Only the Alliance Leader or Recruiter can initiate. Both alliances must maintain at least one shared border (Handshake status). Plan the initiation for Sunday-Tuesday window after group reveal.
Three heroes awaken in S6: Kim (W1), DVA (W3), Tesla (W6). Replaces Exclusive Weapons. Tailored by KxO spending tier.

Your three whales should target top-100 server ranking each round (W2/W4/W6). Bonus shards + named shards in first 750 points + ranking-only Awakening Shard rewards make this the highest-leverage spend per dollar. 6,000-point cap per round is the practical ceiling.
Get an explicit conversation with your three whales: are they chasing top server/faction Awakening rankings (different spend profile, more ranking events, more cosmetic chase), or maximizing personal combat power? The first costs significantly more and shifts where the next $1,000 goes.

All 20 should hit the 6,000-point Global Expedition cap every round (W2/W4/W6). That's the practical reward ceiling. Combined with 10 shards from Hero Awakening Trial per hero, this puts a strong free-shard floor under each commander even without all three Battle Passes.

Patient, optimal F2P play = unlock Kim mid-late season, possibly DVA before season end, Tesla unlikely. That's still a meaningful contribution to Faction Clash and city defense. Communicate this expectation early so members don't burn out chasing whale-tier targets.
The Hybrid Squad card is gone. Mono-type squads return. Audit every spender's setup before Day 1.
Every commander in KxO who built mixed squads around the 4+1 card in S4/S5 is now suboptimal. The hybrid setups (DVA+Lucius+Murphy/Morrison/Schuyler, Air+Murphy, etc.) need rebuild. R4/R5s should audit the top 50 commanders before Day 1.
